For September Movie club – the first movie club hosted with both writers and Backers – we will be discussing the The Confession (1970) by Costa-Gavras.

This film is streaming on Kanopy, a public library and university-based service accessible for anyone who has studied or used library services across 53 countries (though primarily in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia or New Zealand).

We are screening this film ahead of INTERNATIONAL DAY OF DEMOCRACY, as ascribed by the United Nations, which takes place on September 15.
